Ensuring resilient jobs with Stay Nimble

We have joined forces with the award-winning career development platform, Stay Nimble, in a dynamic partnership. This will ensure more people have access to resources which make the difference between experiencing long-term unemployment and moving into more resilient jobs in the future.

Through our projects, we help participants gain confidence, skills and move into training and work. Initiatives address the protection and improvement of green spaces and make green choices easier for the people who use them. Our programmes encourage people to lead more active lives while supporting them to overcome significant challenges such as poverty, isolation, inadequate skill sets and poor health.

Opportunities for everyone

Believing no one should be held back because of their origins, we are on a mission to reduce long-term unemployment and enable people to nurture the talents that could open up new opportunities in work and life.

Across the UK, Groundwork is adapting its local delivery to support communities during and after the pandemic. An integral part of this endeavour is partnering with Stay Nimble, the digital career coaching platform supported by Accenture.

A platform to explore options and gain skills

This partnership will begin with a target group of 25 people receiving 6 months’ access to the Stay Nimble platform, which will be augmented with further support from the Groundwork employment team. During this period, these individuals will initially discover their personal strengths and transferable skills. Then they will be introduced to a wide variety of career matches and job vacancies in their local areas. They will also have access to more than 1,000 free courses via Stay Nimble’s Learning Hub, which is the product of partnerships with the Open University and FutureLearn. For additional support and guidance, they will have the option to speak with a CDI-registered careers adviser.

“It is fantastic to have organisations like Stay Nimble working with Groundwork London’s employment programmes to support our participants. The Stay Nimble platforms allows us to work with our participants to identify long term career options which work for the individual, which is always our focus. We are looking forward to developing this partnership in the coming months.” Bryn Cochrane-Milne, Senior Employer Liaison Officer, Groundwork London

“We’re delighted to be playing our part in Groundwork’s goal to support 20,000 people into accessing training and work by 2023. Stay Nimble and Groundwork have very aligned missions in recognising the importance of increasing the confidence, skills, wellbeing and employability of people to help make our communities more resilient for the future.” Dominic Atkinson, CEO, Stay Nimble

With this partnership, Groundwork and Stay Nimble hope to make a real difference in the lives of people from all backgrounds, particularly those who are vulnerable or have been left behind. Through this collaboration, many people will be supported into more fulfilling and purposeful work, which will bring benefits to them, their families, and their communities.
