Families in Luton – let’s get really wild!
Families across Luton can get really wild at play sessions across the town this year.
Thanks to funding from Bedfordshire & Luton Community Foundation, community charity Groundwork East is running wild play activities at three sites including Farley Hill, Memorial Park, Marsh Farm, and Stopsley every Thursday during May through to October.
Sessions run from 10am to 11am and give parents and children the chance to become wildlife detectives, do some natural art, have fun in the mud kitchen, and learn how to sow seeds.
The fun begins on Thursday 6 May and ends on Thursday 21 October 2021, you can attend as many as you like, however locations will change each month, as follows:
- May: St John the Baptist Church, Rotheram Avenue LU1 5PP
- June: Luton Hoo Memorial Park, West Hill Road, LU1 3LZ
- July: Stopsley Community Garden, 12 St Thomas’ Rd, Luton LU2 7UY
