Duration: October 2023- March 2024

At Groundwork, we believe that community safety and educating young people on environmental issues is key to a stronger, fairer city. This programme will give young people the knowledge and skills to make real changes in their local community.

What we’re doing

We will be supporting young people in the values of safer and greener streets, and strengthening their connection to the community and nature.

Young people will support in the creation of and improvements to spaces that are open to the public in Stockport.

Taking part in regular sessions at Tiviot Dale Methodist Church, young people will support in the development of public green spaces, as well as hosting local community events including litter picks and consultations to gather ideas from the public.
