Help us rewild places in Stockport Town Centre

Background

At the beginning of 2024, we completed a revamp of Suffragette Square with the help of the local council, community and businesses. We are continuing to work with Stockport Council for our Wild About Stockport project, where we are looking to build upon this work, and improve more spaces around the town centre for the benefit of people and wildlife.

How can you get involved?

We’ll be running a series of volunteering activities which will include practical tasks such as clearing flower beds, litterpicking, planting bulbs and more!

We’re also going to be hosting lots of family friendly events where you can learn about what we’re doing and the wildlife we’re helping through fun nature-themed activities.
