Groundwork Greater Manchester offer a number of different training courses related to green jobs and the natural environment. Our courses are designed to help practitioners refresh or enhance their skills, as well as introducing green topics to apprentices or those new to the green sector.
Our qualified team deliver training courses at our offices in Trafford, Rochdale or Ashton, or on your site.
Unless offered as part of an employment programme, there is a charge to join these courses. If you wish to develop one of these courses bespoke for your organisation, this is possible.

Introduction to careers in the Natural Environment sector
Overview: A comprehensive introduction to careers within the natural environment sector, and to learn about how organisations work together in the protection of areas
Duration: Half day
Designed for: Anyone with an interest in starting a career in the natural environment including communities, educators, students or apprentices.

Growing green careers
Overview: A course to increase awareness of the changing economy. More specifically, exploring the concepts of green skills, green jobs and the green economy in Greater Manchester

Designed for: Anyone starting their career or offering career advice, including communities, educators, students or apprentices.
