During a home visit, we’ll give your property a check-up and offer you energy saving advice and practical support to see if you can save energy or access financial incentives. Our Get Energy Help online resource hub provides tips and practical advice for reducing your energy usage and keeping your home free of mould, damp and condensation.

What happens during a Green Doctor home visit?

During a home visit, one of our energy efficiency experts will; assess your property for practical measures and changes to every day habits which can reduce energy usage, look at your bills and help you contact your energy supplier if required, assist you with accessing grants if you are eligible, and refer you to further support services for other issues around energy and finances.

Some of the free services include:

• Fixing causes of heat loss in your home and tackling problems with damp or mould
• Useful tips for saving energy and water whilst ensuring your home stays safe and comfortable
• Installing small energy and water efficiency measures, such as draft excluders, radiator foils and LED bulbs
• Help with accessing other support, such as emergency heating, government subsidies or grants, and advice on energy or water debt.

This free and impartial advice is available to those most in need. If you are struggling with your bills, in debt or having to choose between eating and heating, our energy efficiency experts may be able to help if you meet the eligibility criteria.
