Location:  Pan-London

Contract: 12 months with possible extension to July 2023

Salary: circa £24,000 (Pro rata)

Hours: 30- 37.5 hours per week

The roles will be based across the West London Boroughs of Harrow, Hounslow, Hillingdon, Hammersmith and Fulham, Ealing and Brent. To apply you must be willing to travel to these locations.

Groundwork London is a leading social and environmental regeneration charity delivering over 500 projects each year aimed at: supporting people to stay in education, gain new skills and secure employment; reducing our environmental impact through energy efficiency, waste minimisation, reuse and recycling; and engaging communities and enterprise in improving their environment.

Our Youth Team is seeking applications for Achievement Coaches to support the continued expansion of our Youth Programme. The Achievement Coach programme utilises an innovative approach to deliver early intervention support to vulnerable young people at risk of becoming NEET. The central focus of the role is to support young people in improving educational attainment and assist and encourage them to remain in sustained education and training.

With a relevant background, qualification or experience in youth, and employment work, you will drive innovative and high-quality provision in educational establishments, working with young people to inspire them, increase their resilience and raise their academic attainment.

You will have the ability to form close and effective relationships with young people from a wide range of backgrounds, whilst providing support and guidance.
