Location: The Bale House, Hastings
Contract:  Zero hours contract, flexible hours to cover during Spring
Salary: £11.44 per hour 

The Bale House is a Visitor Centre in Hastings Country Park Nature Reserve. Its construction was funded by Hastings Borough Council (HBC) with grant aid from the Interreg NWE programme. This is a unique straw bale building in one of the UKs most stunning coastal landscapes and is valued within the local community and visitors from outside the area.

Groundwork South have been working in partnership with HBC to manage the building since it was opened in 2021.

The Bale House Assistant will assist in running the new Bale House Visitor Centre to ensure a safe, welcoming and informative service is provided for all visitors. They will work closely with the Centre Manager, Volunteer Coordinators and Area Programme Manager, sharing information and working collaboratively to ensure consistent and high quality delivery
