Groundwork East has over 35 years of experience in delivering bespoke projects that use the environment as a catalyst for building a more sustainable future.  As our activities develop and our area of activity expands we are recruiting for a Project Officer (Landscape, Horticulture Training & Skills).

We are looking for an individual with a good knowledge of landscaping or horticulture.  You will train and supervise learners and work to encourage them to overcome barriers and develop confidence and belief in the benefits of a working life. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing small scale practical landscaping work on site.   You will also support the delivery and assessment of Level 1 City & Guilds qualifications for which training can be offered.  It requires an enthusiastic individual able to motivate others and pass on skills by training a wide range of volunteers in basic landscape skills and as such you will have strong communication skills together with a passion for helping others.
