Community Project Manager, Co-creation

Location:        Groundwork London offices with a requirement to work across London

Contract:        12 months fixed term, with view to extend

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for Groundwork London, the social and environmental regeneration charity helping vulnerable communities become greener, stronger and healthier. We work with people and partners to enable them to build sustainable places where individuals, communities and enterprises prosper.

In this role, you will join an award-winning, multidisciplinary communities team that has been creating better places for over 20 years. Founded on the principle of engaging communities in co-creation, their work includes regeneration, green infrastructure, participatory open space design and well-being projects across London. You will work closely with our Landscape Design Team to deliver a range of exciting social / environmental projects. You will play a key role in delivering housing estate improvement programmes in West London and collaborating with colleague to develop and deliver an exciting portfolio of projects across London.

About you

You will need to be an experienced project manager, with the confidence to lead, develop and deliver a portfolio of bespoke community projects, supporting communities and stakeholders to achieve their aspirations. You will have knowledge and experience of co-creation and capacity building, and a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, community-driven projects. As a lateral thinker, you will thrive on raising the aspirations and supporting communities to achieve their priorities, whilst meeting the expectations of clients and funders. You will also be an excellent communicator motivated by evaluating success and sharing best practices across the team.
