Contract Finance Support Officer

Location: Groundwork London offices / Remote working arrangements 

Contract: Fixed Term 9 months with potential to extend into other Contracts 

Salary: £23,000 FTE

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Groundwork London’s Employment & Skills team is seeking a proactive and skilled Contract Finance Support Officer (CFSO) to join our Employment Team. You will be a key part of the delivery team, responsible for providing high quality administrative and financial contractual support with the purpose of maintaining the Trust’s reporting and evidencing obligations. 

The CFSO works closely with the Senior Contract Officer, Finance team, Project Officers and Programme Managers. You will enable our programmes to succeed through your effective checking and collating of financial subsidy claims, timesheets & payroll as well as support with contract delivery paperwork fostering supportive and positive partner relationships through effective communication and accurate reporting.

  • Are confident in working flexibly within a multi-disciplinary team 
  • Have good communication and interpersonal skills to deliver excellent service to our internal teams (including our team of Employment Advisers) and external partners (including employers engaging with our subsidy programmes) 
  • An understanding of financial processes, and compliance and experience checking paperwork & financial evidence, following a set process
  • Excellent data management skills alongside proven ability to use MS software including Word, Excel and are comfortable using database systems
