ROLE: Delivery Manager, Refugees and Migrants

SALARY: £16,800 per annum (FTE £28,000)

HOURS: 22.5 hour per week

CONTRACT TYPE: Fixed Term to 31st December 2022

 ROLE DESCRIPTION:

The integration project in Hastings and Rother is designed to support 140 refugees and migrants by assisting them to integrate into UK society through a programme of holistic activities, coordinated and delivered through 3 key areas: Language, Preparation for Work and Cultural/Community activities.

The Delivery Manager will manage and coordinate the integration project, including operational delivery, financial management, delivery team management and coordination, project delivery and monitoring and evaluation. The Delivery Manager also leads on local partnership development, fundraising initiatives e.g. identifying sources of local match funding.

The successful candidate will have a relevant degree, professional qualification and / or experience in sustainability, international relations or integration or related disciplines. You will have experience of working with refugees and migrant populations, with knowledge of the sector and an understanding of the issues faced.

You will have experience in the delivery of a wide range of complex projects, preferably including EU funded programmes with a proven ability to coordinate, plan and deliver projects on time and in budget. You will be able to manage, coordinate and develop a multi-disciplinary and high performing outreach delivery team.

 MAIN DUTIES

  • Project manage and coordinate the programme of activities in Hastings and Rother.
  • Lead and line manage delivery team.
  • Manage and develop partner and stakeholder relationships, externally and internally for the project.
  • Ensure professional best practice and compliance with Groundwork South, Partner and Funders’ finance regulations, project management requirements and practices, safeguarding processes, management and administrative systems and procedures.
