Job Role
Are you passionate about helping people and the planet? Do you want to join a team of energy efficiency experts who visit vulnerable households across the UK? If so, you might be a perfect fit for Groundwork’s Green Doctor project.
As a Green Doctor, you will work with communities in need to help them save money, stay warm and well, and reduce their environmental impact. Duties include:
- Providing energy efficiency advice & guidance,
- Providing basic energy saving items for people homes,
- Assisting people in applying for grants and maximising income,
- Delivering community training events and
- Working with other charities and organisations to refer residents on to further services for wider energy saving and wellbeing support.
Requirements:
- Full Uk Driving license and a vehicle
- Post will require a Full DBS check to be completed if successful
