Salary: £23,327 to £24,143 pro rata depending on experience
Location: Based in Ipswich, Norwich or Essex (location currently being sought) and other areas as  required
Hours: Full time (37 hours) or part time to be discussed

Groundwork East has over 30 years of experience in delivering bespoke projects that use the environment as a catalyst for building a more sustainable future.  Our business service offering is developing and growing and as a result we are looking for an enthusiastic, professional, adaptable and experienced business advisor to join our team.

As an Environmental Business Advisor you will deliver on-site and distance environmental technical support to businesses. This includes support provided through environmental audits and reviews, carbon footprinting, environmental legislation and the development of sustainability and carbon management strategies. You will also present this support in relevant intervention templates tailoring them to the clients’ needs and provide follow up support as required. This support includes, but is not restricted to, all aspects of energy efficiency advice, renewable energy, green procurement, business resilience, travel planning, funding/financial support and Carbon Charter assessments.

The successful candidate will have a degree, post grad or professional environmental management qualification, as well as a proven successful track record in undertaking carbon footprinting services to businesses. The role requires a valid driving license, access to a vehicle with a willingness to travel, excellent communication, organisational and diplomacy skills.
