FS Maths Tutor for Learners with Learning Difficulties & Disabilities (LLDD)

Salary:

£22,482 per annum pro rata

Actual pay per annum = £7,715.40, based on 15 hours per week, P/T and Term-time only

Hours:

15 hours per week, P/T, Term-time only; additional hours may be available depending on funding; may include weekend and evening work as required. Standard terms and conditions apply.

South and North Tyneside.

We are a fast paced and diverse charity with an excellent track record in partnership working and high-quality delivery.

We are looking for a dynamic and creative FS Maths Tutor to deliver accredited learning to young people aged 16 – 24 with LDD.  The successful candidate will join a supportive and skilled team of support workers, tutors and Programme Lead and collectively work towards enabling the young people to achieve their qualifications, develop their independence skills, emotional resilience and ultimately progress towards their future goals.

Our learners are enrolled on a Study Programme and in addition to their qualifications they undertake social enterprise projects, which the tutor may assist in developing and delivering. Learning environments vary between classroom, farm, work placement, café and other vocational sites.
