Green Doctor Programme Manager

Location:  Morley Street, Waterloo office with travel to other offices as required

Are you a creative and effective Programme Manager who wants to make a genuine difference working with communities across London? If so, we’d love you to join us at London’s leading on the ground environmental charity.

In this role you’ll head up the award winning Green Doctor programme, which currently has a portfolio of more than 20 projects, delivering home energy efficiency advice through home visits and events to some of London’s most vulnerable households.

You’ll be highly organized and have experience in delivering high quality, impactful services and projects. Offering both strategic and operational understanding that enables you to manage project budgets and team capacity to plan operational delivery effectively to meet targets. Excellent written and verbal skills will ensure communications and client relationships are managed to the highest standards.

You’ll have the ability to motivate and inspire our well established team; including Green Doctors working in the community which will be crucial.

You will also have a leading role in the development of new projects within London and the South East and will identify opportunities for innovation as we build our future Energy Services programmes.

Home energy efficiency visits includes installing low cost energy devices, providing advice and guidance, and referring residents on to further support services and agencies. A good knowledge of energy efficiency and the effects fuel poverty has on the health and wellbeing of vulnerable people is desirable, but not essential.  We are also interested in hearing from you if you have health sector experience with knowledge of NHS systems and/or experience working on financial inclusion projects.
