With the support of the European Social Fund Groundwork Wales’ innovative programme is designed to tackle in-work ill-health and underemployment by engaging individuals with work limiting health conditions and disabilities and support them to manage and improve their health and well-being.
As a Health Coach you will work with clients on a programme of outdoor physical activity to achieve sustained behaviour change. The programme will engage directly with employees, employers and a wide range of health professionals, along with third sector organisations, delivering in the health and well-being sector. The programme will also improve workplace health and well-being through the development of bespoke workplace programmes.
Applicants are required to have appropriate qualifications and equivalent experience in the health sector, project management and community development. Good communication and organisation skills with an ability to work and build relationships with partners, stakeholders, targeted individuals and local communities are essential for this post.
Nurture, Equip, Thrive is an ESF funded programme, delivered in partnership with Torfaen, Merthyr Tydfil, Caerphilly, Blaenau Gwent and Bridgend County Borough Councils.
