We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced project officer to join our team to deliver a portfolio of health and wellbeing projects and informal education in line with Groundwork West Midlands mission to improve life choices and behaviour change aligned to the Public Health and Wellbeing agenda.

As part of this role you will:

  • Develop strong relationships within local communities and community organisations;
  • Deliver a range of healthy eating and cooking community based projects (training will be given);
  • Identify needs of participants and support in addressing these needs;
  • Monitor projects performance against funders requirements;
  • Raise awareness of the programme amongst communities and other organisations.

You must have an interest in one or all of our core areas of work along with an understanding of the economic and social needs of residents living in disadvantaged neighbourhoods.
