Salary: £1000 for 1 wave (2 weeks) £2000 for 2 waves (4 weeks)
Pattern of work: Dates and times to be agreed with manager. 2 week programmes starting between 18th July and 19th August.
Based: Wigan, Leigh & St Helens (depending on programme allocated)

We have some exciting seasonal job opportunities to join our team for between 2 – 4 weeks as an NCS Team Leader.
You can earn up to £2,000 whilst adding leadership skills to your CV at the same time.
The National Citizen Service (NCS) is a government funded project for 15-17 year olds which allows them to discover who they are and what they can do over a fun filled two week progamme.
The role of the NCS Team Leader is to deliver the NCS programme through leading and encouraging a team of young people aged 15-17 throughout their 2 week programme. Applicants must be enthusiastic, confident, adaptable, and have excellent organisation and communication skills to meet the targets of the organisation. You must be able to work flexible hours, which includes residential stays, evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of their NCS team. You’ll also be expected to attend staff training and graduation ceremony before and after the summer period.
Hours of work: Sessional
- Staff Training Days – May/June
- Keep warm events – June
- 4-night outdoor residential
- Social action project- 30 hours to be completed over 1 week period
- Graduation – August
