Role Description

Join our Party Team!

This is an exciting opportunity to join a new outdoor party team at The Vench in Lockleaze. We offer outdoor, nature-themed birthday parties to primary aged children (4-11 years) aimed at reconnecting them with the great outdoors. Our parties include many fun and engaging activities such as fire lighting, treasure hunts, den building and nature crafts.

We are looking for people who are enthusiastic about the outdoors and working with children, and have plenty of enthusiasm to bring to our parties. You should be a good communicator, and understand the importance of ensuring both the children and their parents enjoy the party activities safely.

This is a zero hour role and you would be part of our team covering the parties at The Vench working with a party leader. You must be able to work at weekends and be prepared to work outdoors and get muddy.

Please note we are especially interested in applications from 16-18 year olds who are local to Lockleaze and are looking to gain some valuable employable skills!

In return we offer
  • Full training in the activities you will be expected to deliver
  • Safeguarding training.

This post will be subject to an Enhanced Check with Lists from the Disclosure and Barring Service.  Groundwork South’s Working with Children & Vulnerable Adults Policy supports staff in putting into practice our commitment to safeguarding the welfare of children and young people under the age of 18.
