Programme Grants Officer

We are currently recruiting to a Programme Grant Officer vacancy within the established Programmes & Partnerships team at Groundwork UK in Groundwork’s national office based in Birmingham.

This officer role will be within the Programmes team working on high profile programmes, specifically focused on grant administration. We are seeking someone with experience working on programmes that have an environmental focus; biodiversity, woodland or more general landscape schemes.

The post holder will be initially focused on one funded programme, working closely with the Programme coordinator and Manger on the setup of this new grant programme. It’s an exciting role and you will need to use your grant management skills, making assessments of funding applications, supporting the grant panel, awarding payments, project monitoring, reporting to the funder, undertaking your work using an online grant management system. You will carry out your duties with a high level of customer service, and be a team player who is quick to adapt to shifting priorities in a dynamic working environment.
