Senior Outreach Officer, Refugees and Migrants Maternity Cover

Location: Office location Waterloo, with a requirement to travel to South London boroughs (from home during Covid-19 social distancing measures)

Contract: Fixed Term until end April 2022

Salary: Circa £26,500 pro rata

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

A Senior Outreach Officer is being recruited to join our integration team working in South London.

Groundwork deliver a series of innovative social integration programmes focused on supporting migrants and refugees to integrate into life in the UK, through a programme of holistic activities including, language, employment support and cultural / community activities.

As Senior Outreach Officer you will work with the wider Outreach team to recruit and register Third Country Nationals (migrants) onto the project. You will work strategically to identify and register participants, working closely with migrant communities, organisations and service providers supporting migrant communities. After registration, you will develop a Personal Integration Plan with the participant and support the client throughout the individual’s time on the project.

The postholder will work within a larger Outreach Team and be line managed by the Programme Manager.
