Our project portfolio in Cambridgeshire is expanding quickly and we are seeking a highly motivated individual to help drive the programme forward.  Through your own delivery and managing a small team this is an exciting opportunity to deliver environmental education and community themed projects.

As Senior Project Officer you will have proven experience of successfully managing and delivering multiple projects independently from initiation to completion (particularly adult education projects), on time and within budget.  You will also have proven line management experience to inspire, lead, support and grow our small team of Project Officers.

We work with adults, families and the wider community in a variety environmental, community, educational and engaging projects.  Whether you are delivering one of our acclaimed “wild play” projects, or working with adults to support their health, wellbeing and skills development or leading volunteer tasks in the outdoors your work will reflect the creativity and enthusiasm that’s key to everything we do.

This post represents a fantastic opportunity to work within formal and informal settings with great flexibility in the projects we offer local communities.  You will also have ample scope for innovation and we’ll make sure you’re given all the support and guidance you need to really take your career forward.

With experience in a community or education setting, as well as the ability to engage people in exciting projects, you’ll have the flair to deliver relevant and engaging projects and manage a small team that makes a difference to peoples’ surroundings and the global environment.

The post is subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check.
