Senior Project Officer (River Projects)
Salary: £26,110 – £28,950 depending on experience
Location: Hatfield, Hertfordshire and/or Luton, Bedfordshire
Hours: The role is ideally full time (37 hrs a week) with some flexibility. Part time hours (22.5 hours minimum) can be considered. This role is hybrid.
We are recruiting for a senior project officer role (rivers coordinator) to deliver projects that engage communities with their local watercourses and to improve the water environment. The role will include being a catchment host lead and to develop river focussed projects across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and the wider region.
You will require strong subject knowledge on rivers and conservation work and a passion for community engagement and leading practical tasks. You be working with different community groups as well as co-ordinating with local partner organisations to deliver and develop new projects.
