Location: Home Working with travel across East Hants (looking for 1 day per week in a local partners office)
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £11,100 – £12,333.33 per annum (FTE £22,500-£25,000)
Hours: 18.5 hours each week (for the right candidate we could consider increasing the hours to 22.5 hours/week)

We are looking for an enthusiastic part-time Senior Project Officer to deliver and develop community river projects across the East Hampshire Catchment.

The catchment ranges from rolling chalk downland to the medieval Forest of Bere to the urbanised coastal plain, which has significant nature conservation interest with broad enclosed tidal harbours, extensive salt marsh, reed beds and wet meadows.

As Senior Project Officer (East Hampshire Rivers) you will act as host for the East Hampshire Catchment Partnership, maintaining and growing partnerships with stakeholders including Local Authorities, Water Companies, statutory bodies, environmental NGOs and local groups.

 You will deliver projects to engage communities with their local watercourses and to improve the water environment and work with Groundwork’s fundraising team to assist them in writing funding applications and bids for contracts for rivers projects.
