Groundwork Wales is seeking to appoint two TRUSTEES:  1 with special responsibility for Safeguarding and 1 with special responsibility as Company Secretary

Groundwork Wales supports communities in need, working with partners to help improve the quality of people’s lives, their prospects and potential and the places where they live, work and play. Our vision is of a society of sustainable communities which are vibrant, healthy and safe, which respect the local and global environment and where individuals and enterprise prosper

Candidates will have experience and knowledge of the changing public and private funding and policy environments in which Groundwork operates. We are seeking trustees with the energy, time, passion, skill and creativity to support us to take this unique and dynamic organisation to the next stage in its development.

We are particularly under-represented by those who can support us by dedicating time to Human Resources and Safeguarding.

We are under-represented by trustees from Mid and West Wales.

We are also seeking a trustee willing to take on the role of company secretary and one willing to take on the role of Safeguarding lead.

Board meetings are usually held in Pontllanfraith, Blackwood once a quarter, but we are seeking trustees who can support us in representing and supporting the organisation in a variety of ways.

The role is voluntary with expenses.
