Become a Trustee at Groundwork
Help us to change even more places and even more lives in Cheshire, Lancashire and Merseyside.
We are passionate about creating a future where every neighbourhood is vibrant and green, every community is strong and able to shape its own destiny and where no-one is held back by their background or circumstances.
Groundwork is a charity and a social business. We work towards this vision through a diverse programme of environment, social and economic projects delivered in communities across the North West. We are proud of our impact and the genuine difference we make within communities and to people’s lives.
During our 40-year history, there has never been a more important time to become part of Groundwork. Today’s challenges bring our contribution in to sharp focus – the climate change crisis, recovering from the pandemic, working on economic and social justice. We are looking for a diverse range of people who share our passion to join our Board of Trustees as we develop our future strategy.
N.B. The role is an unpaid role, although reasonable expenses are provided. You will be required to attend 4 x 2.5 hour Board meetings plus preparation, plus 2 days per annum at ad hoc meetings.
Diversity is fundamental to our way or working.
It is important to us that the diversity of our communities is reflected in the diversity of our team, and we are especially keen to hear from women, people with disabilities, young people and those from a black or minority ethnic background.
For more details about the role and the key skills we are looking for see Board Members Recruitment Booklet.
