We’re proud to have been working with One Manchester since its inception in 2015 on a range of partnership projects.

Together, we help make neighbourhoods safer, attractive and more resilient to the effects of climate change and support residents improve their prospects, their well-being and lift them out of fuel poverty.

If you work at One Manchester and would like to find out more about past partnership activity or discus a future collaboration, please complete the form at the bottom of this page and someone will be in touch soon.

Here’s a snapshot of some of the work we’ve done together:

Creating Manchester first tiny forest

Groundwork’s Urban Ranger Trainees planted 600 native trees, including fruit trees, along with a mixture of herbaceous plants to create Manchester’s first tiny forest in Gorton.

Enhancing Vale Street

As part of the Government’s Green Recovery Challenge Fund we worked with local students, residents and One Manchester employees to plant trees on Vale Street; reducing flood risk and enhancing the space.
