New Chief Executive for Groundwork West Midlands

Groundwork West Midlands is pleased to announce that Andrew Thompson will join the organisation as permanent Chief Executive on Monday 28 October 2019. Andrew joins us from VAST (formerly Voluntary Action Stoke-on-Trent), a local council for voluntary services that he has re-positioned in response to the challenges the sector has faced. He will take over from Alison Seabrooke, interim Chief Executive who, since 2018, has guided Groundwork West Midlands through a period of organisational change and development.

June Campbell, Chair of Groundwork West Midlands Board of Trustees said: “We are delighted to welcome Andrew at this exciting period in our organisation’s history. He brings a range of skills and knowledge that will help us to deliver our ambitious growth strategy.”
