The Gen22 project will support young people across the West Midlands to deliver meaningful Environmental Social Action projects to boost green skills, build resilience and provide a stepping stone into work, further training or volunteering.

Young people aged 16-24 will be able to take part in 30-hour assignments through which they can develop their own employability skills, meet like-minded people and have a positive effect on the natural world. Assignment projects can be anything from designing a social media campaign on the environment; improving the footpaths in a country park; or improving community gardens and green spaces.
