Groundwork Greater Nottingham have been designated the Lead Organisation for the period 2019-2022 for Nottingham City Councils Area Based Grants programme for Area 3 of the city of Nottingham which includes Aspley, Bilborough and Leen Valley.

As Area Lead we work with a partnership of 13 Voluntary and Community Sector Organisations  to deliver targeted programmes relating to Youth and Play, Employment and Skills, Support for Older People and support to Voluntary and Community Sector organisations through dissemination of grant funding, monitoring, reporting and strategic development.  We play an active role in many area forums and meetings which ensure the needs of the local communities are addressed, as well as directly delivering Employment and Skills support in the area and running a volunteer befriending service for our elderly community members.
