UK Year of Service’s mission is to place young people into socially beneficial job roles; enabling them to build their work experience, skills, network and confidence whilst delivering impact to projects with a clear social purpose. It connects 18-24 year olds, prioritising those furthest from the labour market, to paid work that pays back; supporting their ability to find sustainable and meaningful next steps into employment, further education or training.

GROUNDWORK are support 11 young people on 9 months paid work placements for young adults (aged 18-24) that:

  • offer experience and support for a socially beneficial job role offering 30-35 hours per week

their wellbeing and build their network.
