Do you know a local park or public open space that needs a bit of love?
Let us know where it is and we’ll do our best to get in touch with the people that look after it to see if they would like to apply for a grant.
Please fill in the form below so we can find the right people to contact and then reply to you by email within two weeks to discuss with you.
Funding can support projects that benefit local communities and do not charge for access. You can find out more about the kinds of projects we can fund here.
The project nomination form should load below. If it doesn't you can nominate your project online here.
For us to be able to provide a grant to your nominated site we will need a constituted body to complete our application form, receive the grant and carry out the work to the site. A constituted group could be the ‘Friends of Group’ who promote and support the local green space, a local charity such as Fields in Trust, Keep Britain Tidy, Groundwork or greenspace scotland or the land owner of the green space (Local Authority, social housing provider, parish council, etc).
It should be noted that landowner permission will be needed for a project to be eligible for a grant. More information on landowner permission can be found here.
We will contact you within two weeks of receiving your nomination to discuss next steps. Some spaces will have unclear landownership, which may make it impossible to provide a grant for your nominated green space. Unfortunately in some cases, even if we able to find a local constituted group and the landowner, a project might not be viable or possible.
