What is the Youth Network?
The Youth Network gives young people the opportunity to share their passion for Groundwork's mission.
You are the decision makers of the future, bringing new ideas, motivation and creativity. That's why we want you to speak out, share your views and and shape our work.
The Youth Network is your opportunity to communicate your passion, engage with your peers and join in Groundwork's mission whilst learning new skills.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for passionate, motivated and committed individuals aged 16-24 to lead the way in spreading our message.
What does being a Youth Ambassador mean?
Being a Youth Ambassador means that you stand for creating a future where everywhere is vibrant and green, every community is strong and able to shape its own destiny and where everyone can reach their potential.
We want you to engage with Groundwork online, sharing our message through social media and expanding the Youth Network through peer to peer recruitment. You can tweet about us, share our links on Facebook and spread our campaign messages to your peers.
As a member of the Youth Network, you will be invited to write blog posts, create YouTube videos and volunteer at our local projects.
You will be invited to take part in our current fundraising challenges which is a great opportunity to get your friends involved in Groundwork's mission.
What will you get out of it?
As a member of the Groundwork Youth Network, you will be part of an exciting growing team. You will become an influential voice amongst your peers and learn about projects that are running across the country to improve people's prospects, create better places and promote greener living and working.
Through expanding the Youth Network and sharing our mission with your peers, you will be given the opportunity to create written pieces and video content for Groundwork alongside volunteering at local projects and getting involved in Groundwork events and fundraising challenges, allowing you to develop skills for your future.
