SALARY: £30,000-£33,000 per Annum

If you are passionate about conserving and enhancing distinctive landscapes, and have the skills to bring together a wide range of organisations to make things happen – we have the right job for you.
You will lead and manage the delivery of the Colne Valley Landscape Partnership, with funding of over £2.5 million awarded by the Heritage Lottery Fund and other funders.
You will oversee a diverse and ambitious range of projects including:
- conserving and enhancing wildlife habitats, including actions helping threatened water voles to thrive
- raising awareness of the need to reduce water consumption and conserve wetlands
- improving access and information about routes into and around the area
- supporting local conservation groups encouraging residents and visitors to learn about heritage and celebrate their landscape by getting out and actively engaged in it
These projects will be delivered across the Colne Valley Regional Park, the first large taste of countryside to the west of London. The Park covers 43 square miles, a mosaic of farmland, woodland, villages and water – including over 200 miles of river and canal, and more than 70 lakes.
