Groundwork’s Wellies in the Woods programme has a real impact on children and their families. Your partnership would help more disadvantaged children to grow their confidence – blossoming in the magic of storytelling and nature.

For over 45 years, Groundwork has had boots on the ground in communities across the UK bringing our mission of fairer and greener society for all – to all.

Our Wellies in the Woods programme does just that. By providing a safe space in nature where children can reap the health and wellbeing benefits of being amongst the trees and at one with nature.

You have the power to make this a reality for more children.

Let’s make a change together

Partner with us to inspire the next generation with a love for nature and provide families across the UK with outdoor play and learning opportunities. Your support will help to:
  • Inspire children to have a lasting respect for the environment through connection with nature
  • Facilitate social play which increases children’s confidence amongst peers
  • Provide parents with opportunities to engage in play with their children, becoming better equipped to take their children to play in outdoor spaces
  • Ensure children’s literacy and numeracy skills are developed prior to starting school, preparing them for formal education
  • Support the green leaders of the future
