Groundwork South is working in partnership with Bristol’s Friends of Park groups, to engage more young people aged 11-25 in their local parks. The project is funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund and is part of a national programme called Kick the Dust.
We are working with the National Youth Agency and Fields in Trust to provide training and mentoring for twelve Friends of Parks groups between 2018-2021.
This year we are partnering with the Friends of Manors Woods Valley & Malago Valley Conservation Group, Friends of Troopers Hill and Friends of Eastville Park. If your group would like to partner with us, please email email@example.com for more information.
Join an adventurous team of 16-25 year olds to will work in partnership with your local Friends of Park group to create projects to protect your park for future generations. We will train, mentor and support you to grow your confidence and skills in conservation, woodcraft, foraging, first aid, campaigning, mentoring, vlogging and more.
