SALARY: £8.21 per hour - £16,009.50 FTE

CONTRACT: zero hours

OPERATIONAL AREA: Sussex and Surrey

Come and join our very popular and successful team at The Discovery Centre located within the stunning Combe Valley Countryside Park, Bexhill. We offer Holiday clubs and a range of educational visits to predominantly primary aged children (4-11 years) along with family fun days and activities for community groups, aimed at reconnecting people with the great outdoors. Our education sessions include many fun and engaging activities such as rock pooling, pond and river dipping, bread/pizza making, den building and nature crafts to name but a few.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Project Activity Assistant who can run exciting and engaging Children’s Holiday Clubs. You should have experience of planning and delivering activities and be a good communicator with excellent organisational and time management skills.

Key Tasks

  • Proactively plan and prepare activities for the Children’s Holiday Club
  • To support the administration of the project along side the Programme Manager.
  • To support the organisation of the project resources and allocation of volunteer staff along side the Programme Manager.
  • Act as the first point of contact for bookings, customers and other stakeholders
  • Deliver fun and stimulating activities for the Children’s Holiday Club.
  • Collate feedback to assist measurement of outcomes.
