Our Eco Hub at The Palatine Library in Blackpool is now open.
Our mission is to give people across Blackpool the advice and support they need to save energy, reducing their bills and make themselves and the planet happier and healthier.
What You Can Expect
The new hub offers you the chance to see the latest cutting-edge low-carbon and renewable-energy technology in action. You can learn more about things like PV Panels, Domestic Air Source Heat Pumps, High Efficiency Electric Heating, Triple Glazing, Cavity Insulation, Internal and External Insulation, Draft Proofing and LED Lighting.
It’s THE place to go to get FREE impartial energy advice.

Christmas / New Year Opening Hours
We will be open as usual on Friday 20th December, but will then be closed from Monday 23rd December, until we reopen on Thursday 2nd January 2025.
What We Can Offer:
- Face to face advice on home energy use, understanding bills, energy debt, switching tariffs, smart meters, the priority service register and the warm home discount.
- Installation of energy efficiency measures e.g. draft excluders, LED’s and radiator reflector panels.
- Advise on damp, mold and condensation that can have an impact on your health.
- Information on small behaviour changes that can have a big impact on energy bills.
- Information on grants for larger retrofit installations making your home more energy efficient and reducing carbon emissions.
- Impartial information enabling you to make informed decisions that can transform your home!
