Our Impact

As we pursue our mission to create a fair and green future in which people, places and nature thrive, we have developed a wide ranging programme of very diverse but interconnected projects – practical action that is driven and inspired by the needs and ambitions of our communities.

With such a wide range of activities reaching across the North West, it’s important that we understand the impact that our work is having in addressing the needs of our communities. Are we making a difference? How? Where? Are we achieving the goals we have set out to deliver?

As a member of the Federation of Groundwork Trusts we have worked hard this year to better articulate our mission and goals and to work out how best to measure the change we are making. This isn’t an easy process – it’s an ongoing journey and in our 2023/24 Impact Report we present our latest effort.

We are very proud by our achievements this year. The experiences of our beneficiaries inspires us to do more and the changes we are seeing in our communities is all the motivation we need.

None of this would be possible without the support of our many partners and funders, local communities and individuals.
