Groundwork is delivering a consultation to identify the current challenges business are facing in Rawtenstall along with the opportunities for further improvement that businesses and organisations based in premises across Rawtenstall Town Centre would like to see.
The consultation builds on the current regeneration projects in Rawtenstall being advanced by Rossendale Borough Council, including workstreams associated with the Rawtenstall Masterplan, the Rawtenstall Market redevelopment, improvements to the Rawtenstall gyratory, the Spinning Point area, and the Whitaker museum expansion. These initiatives collectively aim to make Rawtenstall safer, more welcoming, better connected, and greener, bringing communities together, reconnecting the town with nature, creating safe and vibrant streets and spaces, and “restitching” the town’s historic fabric.
