About the network
The idea behind Men’s Sheds is that no man is an island. The sheds provide a network for Men seeking comfort and companionship within their local community. On top of this, we like to say that no Shed is an island, as all the Shedders across the globe are connected by the Men’s Shed concept. The network is one of support and encouragement.
Each and every Shed will share tips and personal experience to ensure all Sheds are running smoothly and confidently. New sheds are welcomed into the network with open arms, and always have their questions and concerns answered – usually by other Shedders. The Sheds love to get out and about and visit with each other, see each other’s space and how each individual shed likes to run things.
