Groundwork Northern Ireland
Groundwork Northern Ireland empowering the communities of Northern Ireland to grow from the ground up.
Groundwork takes practical action to create a fair and green future in which people, places, and nature thrive.
We support local communities and businesses to build capacity and resilience as this is vital if we are to tackle hardship, achieve a just transition to net-zero and help nature recover in a way that reduces inequality and leads to better work and healthier, happier lives.
Here at Groundwork Northern Ireland we have 3 key themes:
- Community Hubs and Green Spaces
- Young People, Skills and Employment
- Sustainable Communities and Climate Change
In our work we use a community development approach, allowing us to build positive relations with the people and communities we work with.
