Stir-Fry Noodles
Serves 2-4 people
Ingredients
12 ounces of fresh or dry noodles
4-5 cups of mixed stir-fry ingredients such as Cooked or leftover chicken, pork, beef, tofu, red and green peppers, mushrooms, cabbage and carrots
2-3 tablespoons of oil
1-3 garlic cloves, thinly sliced, quartered
Small piece of ginger finely chopped or grated Half teaspoon of salt
Soy sauce or oyster sauce to taste.
Method
Prepare the noodles according to package directions. Drain and rinse the noodles with cold water.
Prepare stir-fry ingredients and start by heating the wok.
Add 1 tablespoon of oil.
If you’re using garlic or ginger, add it now. Stir-fry just until fragrant, 10 to 20 seconds.
Start with stir-frying the meat. Sear for 1 minute without stirring, then stir-fry another minute to work in the aromatics. Add the vegetables. Stir-fry another minute or so until everything nearly cooked, another 1 to 2 minutes.
Add the noodles.
Add in any liquids such as soy sauce.
Stir and toss the noodles and other stir-fry ingredients to coat evenly.
Stir-fry for one more minute:
Serve immediately and enjoy!
