The Yellow Fish campaign is an Environment Agency initiative designed to reduce surface water pollution. It has one, clear message: “only rain down the drain!”
Groundwork is working with the Environment Agency to engage local communities in Saxmundham, Framlingham, and Halesworth on the project. Groundwork is providing information and practical advice on how to reduce environmental pollution to residents, businesses and schools. Together we can make a difference!
Public drains are also being marked with a yellow fish symbol as a reminder that all litter or pollution entering the system can cause direct contamination of our rivers and streams.
