Representatives of organisations who have made Lancashire Skills Pledge

Our mission is all about ‘Changing Places and Changing Lives’ and there’s no better way to do that than by helping our local young people find their path!

Lancashire Skills Pledge

We’re so proud to have been part of the Lancashire Skills Pledge since the very start. For the last 6 years, our Director of Employment & Skills, Colin Greenhalgh, has been volunteering his time as an Enterprise Adviser—first at Albany Academy in Chorley and now at Upholland High.

From giving presentations on the voluntary sector, to helping students develop their skills through mock interviews, Colin and others are helping the next generation get “work ready.”

Lancashire Cornerstone Employers Group

We’re also proud to sit on the Lancashire Cornerstone Employers group alongside local names like Booths and BAE Systems. Together, we’re making sure Lancashire’s school leavers have the best possible start in life.

It’s about more than just a pledge—it’s about building a stronger Lancashire for everyone.
