Following a successful pilot in Cardiff and Newport last year, we’re delighted to be working in partnership with Dwr Cymru Welsh Water to deliver our Water Efficiency Home Visit service to customers on water meters in the Cardiff area. Under the scheme Groundwork officers conduct a home visit, provide customers with advice on how they can save water and fit water saving devices. The programme aims to save an average of 60 litres per day per household – equivalent to a saving of around £75 on a household bill.
Valleys Regional Park (VRP) and Groundwork Wales hold a special event to celebrate that its network of community volunteers — the Guardians — have completed nearly 10,000 hours of voluntary work over the last three years.

We Educate Communities And Regenerate Environments. There are three strands to our WeCare programme: Green Teams, Green Communities and Green Education.
Healthy Rivers Programme engages local people in the conservation of local rivers through volunteering opportunities, community river care days and accredited training.
Routes2Life (R2L) does what its name encapsulates – provides disadvantaged and often vulnerable adults and young people an education and skills development programme as a positive way forward.
