Kick start your community project this New Year with a cash boost!

Does your community project need a cash boost? Then apply for a Tesco Bags of Help grant and you could receive just that!

Tesco Bags of Help is the exciting grant scheme administered by community charity Groundwork Hertfordshire and funded by the Tesco carrier bag charge.

Groups could be in with a chance of bagging up to £1000 for their community project. Schools, sports groups, clubs, and local charities can all apply. If your application is successful, your project goes to the public vote in Tesco stores to determine how much you will be awarded.

Applications are low in Beccles, Cheshunt, Dereham, Dunmow, Stalham, Thetford, Tiptree Waltham Abbey, and Wisbech, so you could be in with a good chance of making it to the final voting round – so apply now!

A previous grantee said “This award has made a huge difference to us, it’s a great scheme and we are so grateful to Tesco and Groundwork for making it so straight forward for us to apply.”
