Get Involved
Groundwork Northamptonshire is all about people—people who want to make a difference, connect with others, and build stronger, healthier communities. Whether you’re looking for local activities, want to volunteer your time, support us through fundraising, or explore partnership opportunities, there are many ways to get involved.
Explore the sections below to find out how you can take part and help shape a more connected, resilient Northamptonshire.

In The Community
We work in lots of different ways across your community, offering support and activities to people of all ages. From Wellies in the Woods, our Grow, Cook, Eat activities, to our Green Doctor, whether you are looking for something for the kids to do, you want to meet new people, or you’re looking for advice, we are here to help.
Healthy Living
Healthy living is about more than just eating right and exercising. Getting out after a stressful day at work, making time for you, breathing in fresh air and finding friends in local places all help to keep our minds and bodies in the best shape.
Here we share activities you could be involved with, where you could connect with local people, ideas for getting back to nature, and also our monthly recipes so you can try something different.

Partnerships
Groundwork exists for local people, but it also couldn’t exist without the support of local people. We welcome volunteers who could help us with across any of our projects. This is also a great chance to meet new people and learn new skills. We also work closely with local businesses, and we are dedicated to forging corporate partnerships. We’re also grateful for the kind donations that people make, as this makes such a difference to what sort of work we’re able to do.
Fundraising
Thank you to everyone who supports us. We are always very grateful for all support and have our own Just Giving page, which means it is easy to fundraise and donate. We simply couldn’t continue the work we do across communities in Northamptonshire without the kind support of local people.
