Our environment team works in nature across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire delivering habitat management tasks in nature. We work closely with local people who want to make a difference and look after their local green spaces.
Being a volunteer with Groundwork Five Counties had a lot of benefits!
People work with us to gain new skills and share what they know with others, to meet new people, improve their physical and mental health, and to improve local biodiversity and conservation in local woodlands, parks, greenways and nature reserves, for everyone to enjoy.
We welcome people from all backgrounds, anyone over the age of 18 can volunteer. Full training and PPE will be provided, and we will also be able to reimburse you for commuting costs.
If you would like to become a volunteer or try a taster session, we’d love to hear from you! Fill in the form below and we’ll be in touch with you as soon as possible.
